The game has a lot of style, smooth and satisfying gameplay, the Mons are well designed.and the writing, it is A LOT better than I would have thought, self aware and funny.

From what I’ve played healing stations are pretty conveniently placed though so it hasn’t bothered me. It’s got some tedious qualities about it like backtracking to go heal your mons every couple of fights. Like I mentioned before, it’s not perfect.the grind is pretty real when it comes to leveling and earning currency but that’s getting addressed in the patch. I picked it up last night and it kept me up till around 3, woke up this morning and I’ve played for a better portion of the day.

Like any game it’s not perfect, but at $20 it is damn good and the Devs seem to be pretty on it with a patch already coming in addressing some complaints and issues. If you are itching for a more classic style of Pokémon game, or the $60 price tag of Sw/Sh is too high look no further. I’ve seen a pretty small amount of buzz going on around this game and figured I’d give it a shout. Has some issues but they are negligible in my option and patches are incoming. TLDR: Game is absolutely worth $20, well made and fun.
